Several Green Hope school records fell this past weekend at the Apex Relays, held this year at Green Level Stadium on the campus of Green Level High in Cary.

On the girls side, two individual field event records were set. Anya Long leaped 16 feet 9.25 inches to set a new school mark in the long jump while placing second. Aubry Dreikosen tied a 17-year-old record in the girls high jump with her first-place, 5 foot 3 inch effort.

The boys saw two medley relay marks go down. Austin Snyder, Isaac Fisher, Christopher Mondie, and Sean Petersen finished second in 3:31.24 to break the school record in the 1600m sprint medley relay (200-200-400-800). The distance medley team of Peyton Parish, Matthew Kehn, Michael Biddle, and Ares Epps broke a 10-year-old mark, running 10:21.50 for the win.

The girls distance medley relay and boys 4x800m relay also posted first place finishes.

Both the girls and the boys teams finished second in the team standings.
