School 300m records fall at JDL

Green Hope had another night of outstanding performances on Friday, January 19. Will Hoffmann (35.05) and Lindsey Eastwood (42.38) set new school records in the 300 meter dash, with Will's time besting the state-qualifying mark. Will also recorded wins the 55m dash and 500m. At the 2nd Wake County Meet (1/13), Green Hope athletes again turned in many great performances. The girls 4x800m relay team (Lindsey Eastwood, Sarah Taylor, Jordyn Parks, and Emily Jordan) ran a state-qualifying mark. The 2016-2017 Green Hope Indoor Track season got off to a great start with the Reagan Polar Bear/Dash for Doobie 3200 race in Pfafftown. on November 19. The first group of state meet qualifiers emerged out of the 3200m run. The girls race saw Sarah Taylor, Samantha Kolor, Kelsey Vogel, and Emily Jordan run faster than the qualifying mark of 11:50.
