12 members of the track team finished up their indoor season last night at the NCHSAA Indoor 4A State Championships with some outstanding performances and numerous school records. Four individuals and a relay team earned All-State honors.

For the third straight year two Green Hope boys placed in the top five of the 3200. Bryan Spreitzer took 3rd with Ryan Walling finishing close behind in 5th. Both Bryan and Ryan ran below the previous school record. Olivia Enright recorded a 6th place finish in the girls' 3200 with an indoor PR. Finally, John Mangum took 7th in the boys' Pole Vault, equaling his personal best height of 12'6". The girls' 4x800 relay team of Jessie Rossabi, Olivia Enright, Lauren Colberg and Mo McDonnell broke the previous school record en route to a 5th place finish. Their time also ranks them as one of the top ten 4x800 teams in state history.

Alex Appleby and Lauren Colberg also set new school records in the 55m Hurdles and the 1000 respectively, while Lauren Riedle turned in a personal best time (indoor or outdoor) in the 1600.
