Falcons send record 18 athletes to states
Green Hope continued its successful postseason yesterday at the 4A Mideast Regional meet as our girls and boys teams both placed fourth in the team standings. Girls capture title, boys runners-up in SWAC Championship
The Falcons continued their historic track and field season with an outstanding SWAC Championship meet last week. The girls won the team title for the first time in school history, and the boys finished a close 2nd to Panther Creek.

Falcons make history at 2016 Penn Relays
It was a weekend of historical excitement for the Green Hope High School track team. Nine Falcon athletes competed at the 122nd edition of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. This meet draws top high school, collegiate, and Olympic athletes.

NC Runners Elite Invitational recap
Green Hope continued its excellent outdoor track season with several outstanding performances at the NC Runners Invitational.
Event winners included Jayquan Williams in the boys 800 meters, with a new school record time of 1:52.26. Finn McBride won the boys 1600.

Girls first, boys third at Bojangles Apex Relays
The Green Hope Falcons had a great day over the weekend at Bojangles Apex Relays. The girls took home the team title with 65.5 points over Ragsdale (63) and Leesville (49), while the boys scored 51 points to finish third behind Panther Creek (71) and Millbrook (58.5).

Outstanding performances highlight week on the track
Green Hope had some outstanding performances last week. In the dual meet at Apex, Kayla Foy broke the school record in the 200m. She was then part of the school record-setting 4x100m relay along with Paige West, Carmen Curtis, and Mary Newby.

The Falcons competed in their first invitational meet of the outdoor season this weekend at the Carolina Relays at UNC. School records fall at David Oliver Classic
We had a smaller group of athletes compete this past weekend at the David Oliver Classic, but still had a very successful meet. Falcons' efforts at Virginia Tech prove most successful meet in school history
