News: Phoenix High School Classic

We had some strong performances at the Phoenix High School Classic held at Elon University.
For the boys, John Mangum and Alex Yozzi scored all of the points as they finished tied for 3rd and 6th respectively in the Pole Vault. Alex's vault of 11 feet is a new PR. Chris Flemmings recorded a PR in the Triple Jump, while Blake Scott and Malik Forte contributed strong performances on the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
On the girls' side, Rayna Yvars, Jessie Rossabi and Cameron Inglis each scored points in two different events. Jessie and Cameron joined Lauren Riedle and Lauren Colberg on the 4x800 relay team that placed 4th and qualified for regionals. Rayna and Cameron teamed with Jessica McEnaney and Maya Worth on the 4x400 relay team to place 7th and also qualified for regionals. Rayna also added a 7th place finish in the Pole Vault, while Jessie placed 8th in the 800m Run and qualified for regionals.
