Congratulations to all the athletes on making our first of two home meets a successful day. The boys finished 2nd to Athens and ahead of Lee County, while the girls were dominant in defeating both visiting schools.

Miles Brown, DeMario Williams, and Brad Jordan led the way for the boys. Miles won the triple jump with an outstanding PR effort while also adding legs on two 2nd place relay teams. DeMario won the 800 in his first attempt at that distance, while Brad added top-three finishes in the 100 and 200 meter dashes, along with a leg on the 2nd place 4x100 relay.

Rayna Yvars led the girls with winning efforts in the 100 hurdles and pole vault. She also contributed points in the 300 hurdles and 4x400 relay. Jessica McEnaney and Pauline Schwerbrock recorded wins in the field events by taking first place finishes in the long jump and high jump respectively. Cameron Inglis added a first place finish in the 300 hurdles along with points in the 100 hurdles and 4x100 relay.
