The girls' team took 2nd place at the Tri-9 Track and Field Championships while the boys placed 6th.

Miles Brown picked up our only medal of the meet with a 2nd place finish in the 400 meters. Miles also helped the boys' 4x400 relay team, along with DeMario Williams, Jonathan Arias, and Mahmoud Saad, place 3rd. Mahmoud and Jonathan also took 3rd and 4th in the 800 meters, with both guys running below the regional qualifying standard.

On the girls' side, we had four athletes score in the double digits to lead the team to its runner-up finish. Rayna Yvars led the way with victories in the 100 hurdles and pole vault. Erica Amatori added a gold medal in the 3200 meters after placing second on day one in the 1600. Rayna and Erica both earned all-conference status. Lauren Colberg and Emily Boesch added silver medals in the 800 and 3200 respectively to bring their point totals into the double digits. Emily's 3200 time set a new personal best. Jessie Rossabi and Lauren Hagenus also added important points with 4th place finishes in the 3200 and triple jump respectively. The performance that turned the most heads came from our 4x100 relay team of Kristen McEnaney, Rayna, Maya Worth, and Danyel de Souza. The girls broke one of our older school records and achieved the regional qualifying standard en route to a 2nd place finish.
