We had a smaller group of athletes compete this past weekend at the David Oliver Classic, but still had a very successful meet. On Friday night, the boys 4x200m relay team of Blake Watson, Trevor Losito, Sohum Singh, and Will Hoffmann broke their own school record (1:32.19) en route to a first place finish.

On Saturday, we had three athletes compete in the elite events. Jayquan Williams and Henry Pehr took 1st and 2nd places respectively in the 800 meters. Jayquan's time (1:56.42) set a new school record. Elly Henes led most of the race in the mile en route to the win and a new school record (4:58.25). Additionally, we had new state meet qualifiers in Katie Tomasi (1600m), Sarah Taylor (1000m), and Morgan Adams (1000m).
