Several Green Hope track and field athletes, competing as the Western Cary Track Club, posted some amazing results over the past weekend at The Armory in New York City.

In the Boys Emerging Elite 800, Jayquan Williams took first place and set a new EE meet record of 1:52.75. Henry Pehr took 2nd overall with a 1:54:04 PR. Elly Henes took 11th in the Girls Ghampionship 2 Mile and set a new school record (10:32:38).

Lindsey Eastwood, Allison Williams, Natalie Richards and Emily Jordan set a new school record (4:02.41) in the Girls Emerging Elite 4x400m Relay. The women’s 4x800 team of Emily Jordan, Katie Tomasi, Allison Williams and Lindsey Eastwood placed 10th in the Emerging Elite with a season's best 9:32.47.

The sprint medley team of Blake Watson, Will Hoffman, Henry Pehr and Jayquan Williams broke the school record (3:30.93) and placed 5th overall to earn All-American honors.
