Green Hope Track & Field

Green Hope continued its excellent outdoor track season with several outstanding performances at the NC Runners Invitational.

Event winners included Jayquan Williams in the boys 800 meters, with a new school record time of 1:52.26. Finn McBride won the boys 1600.

Silver medals were won by the girls 4x100m team (Paige West, Carmen Curtis, Lindsey Eastwood, and Kayla Foy) in a new school record time of 48.39; the girls Distance Medley team (Brianne Vasarhelyi, Bailey Fowler, Sheridan Wood, Meg Penaganti); and Madysen Clarke in the girls High Jump.

Bronze medalists included the girls 4x800m team (Kayla Hall, Jordyn Parks, Martina Savage, and Julia Zwierzynski), Will Hoffmann in the 200 meters, and Peyton Barish in the boys 1600 meters.

Will Hoffmann also set a new school record (10.84) in the 100 meter dash.
