News: School 300m records fall at JDL

Green Hope had another night of outstanding performances on Friday, January 19. Will Hoffmann (35.05) and Lindsey Eastwood (42.38) set new school records in the 300 meter dash, with Will's time besting the state-qualifying mark. Will also recorded wins the 55m dash and 500m. Finn McBride (4:23.70) and Ian Delgado (2:34.10) ran state-leading marks in the 1600m and 1000m, respectively. Anya Long, competing in just her second meet, qualified for states in the triple jump with a leap of 34-2.5.
A smaller group of Falcons travel to Virginia Tech this coming weekend for a very competitive invitational in Blacksburg, VA. The banked track and strong competition should produce some strong performances.
