Green Hope Track & Field

Fourteen Falcons traveled to Ronald Reagan High School to compete at the New Balance Dash for Doobie Meet. This meet of 3200 meter races is always a team favorite and always a cold night and this year did not disappoint.

On the girls side, Katie Foppiano, Grace Boughton, Shea Sullivan, Alice Emel and Kayla Gordon all set new PRs in the 3200m. With her time of 11:44.81 Katie Foppiano also qualified for the 2022 Indoor State Meet! 

Joining her, four boys, Jacob Kurak, Luke Young, Gavin Hansen, and Zach Taylor also ran qualifying marks. Jacob, Luke, Zach, Ben Cale, Liam Young and Andrew Vo broke the 10:00 barrier for the first time. Jacob's time of 9:41.29 moves him to 10th all-time at Green Hope in the 3200 in a Polar Bear meet. Dax Mahone and Matt Dubrule set competitive marks in their first 3200 race! Dax's time of 10:08.08 makes him the third fastest sophomore to run the event in a Polar Bear meet!
